Performing Code Reviews With Visual Studio Team System

Visual Studio Team System introduced two powerful new features for performing code reviews Code Analysis and Code Metrics. Code Analysis enables developers to analyze and clean their code prior to it being deployed to the test, staging or production environments. Code Metrics is a set of software measures that provide developers with better insight into the code they are developing. The use of Code Analysis and Code Metrics increases code quality much earlier in the development lifecycle, thus cutting down on time & resources that would have been spent later finding and fixing those issues if they occurred outside of the development environment. In this session, you will learn how use the Code Analysis and Code Metrics tools that are available in the VSTS platform to perform both thorough and efficient code reviews.
